A Texas Tradition: World Champion Barbecue Cooker Named

HOUSTON, (HLS&R) – Despite the cold weather, crowds of  people came to NRG Park each night of the World’s Championship Bar-B-Que Contest, Feb. 26 – 28, for great barbecue, music and fun. Selected from hundreds of the best barbecue teams from across the state and nation, Across the Track Cook-off Team was named the champion.

The 2015 Contest received a record number of 419 entries for judging, and after a full weekend of marinating, smoking and grilling, the winners are:
